Sri Rama Navami is the day that marks the Advent of Lord Sri
Rama who is revered as being the very embodiment of Dharma (righteousness) and
whose life serves as an ideal for all mankind. Lord Rama is said to have ruled the Kingdom of
Kosala from Ayodhya for an eleven-thousand year Golden Age known as the
Rama-rajya or Rama's Kingdom, before eventually returning to His Mahavishnu
form.
The Avatar of this age, Sri Sathya Sai Rama has
also come to bring about such a Rama-Rajya or Golden Age in this Kali Yuga, as
He has revealed in astonishing detail during some discourses and interviews.
Here I contemplate on two such Divine Statements on the ensuing Golden Age that
are separate and apparently unrelated. Yet as you read them in conjunction with
each other, provide an astounding indication of things to come.
Statement 1:
"Many hesitate to believe that things will
improve, that life will be happy for all and full of joy, and that the Golden
Age will recur. Let me assure you that this Dharmaswarupa, that this Divine
body, has not come in vain. It will succeed in averting the crisis that has
come upon humanity". (Baba in 1968 - Sai Baba, The Holy Man and the
Psychiatrist, Page 91)
Statement 2:
"The arrival of the Golden Age shall be
heralded by a "new coming" as well as some upheavals, sufficient to
uproot the evil that is so prevalent today". (Sai Messages for You and Me
Vol.II, Ralli, Lucas, 1988, Page 70)
In the first one, Swami clearly indicates that the
Divine body of Sathya Sai Avatar has come to establish the Golden Age. In the
second statement He mentions that the Golden Age will be brought about by a
"new coming".
What could this "new coming" be? Swami
could not have been indicating the coming of Prema Sai Baba because it is
obvious from "Statement 1" that the Golden Age would come during the
Sathya Sai Avatar itself. Was Swami giving a hint about His “new coming” in the
very same form as Sathya Sai Baba?
In this age of rampant evil and disharmony, in my
opinion, only a miracle of such magnanimous proportion can uproot the evil and
turn the attention of people towards God. Perhaps, further clues to the
impending miracle lie in two other statements:
"Do not consider Sai Baba as a mere figure
five feet three inches tall. His Presence will be felt all over the world. Wait
and see. In a few days the entire world will come here". (Sathya Sai
Speaks Volume 28 Chapter 19)
"Swami answers to the question what sign will
He give that the Golden Age is beginning that the Glory of Sai will spread to
every part of the world. It will increase a thousand fold". (Sanathana
Sarathi, December 1993)
I hope and pray we all witness in the near future,
that thunderous miracle which will turn the attention of the whole world to
that "five-feet-three-inches tall" orange-robe-clad figure!
Jai Sai Ram!

ReplyDeleteYears ago, I learned a Bhajan, "Anahi Parega," which is often requested at the Shirdi Baba Temple in Monroeville (Pittsburgh), PA. I now feel there is a reason for this.
These are times for us to sing this song as we wait patiently. "You have to come Baba, you have to come."
Keep blogging bro.
Bolo Jai Sai Ram
