Three days after Swami left His body, I received an email from a close friend with the contents of a letter that supposedly materialized in a devotee’s home in Chennai, India. Even though the email did not have a copy attached, the original letter was said to be in Swami’s hand writing. The message in the letter was so astounding that I decided to trace its source and verify the authenticity. However after much fruitless effort I abandoned the quest and abstained from sharing the letter without its legitimacy verified.
I had all but forgotten about the letter until a few weeks ago when Brother Aravind Jayaraman who helps with the distribution of Sai Thy Kingdom Come Tamil, received a call from a Sai brother in Chennai enquiring about the book. From their discussion Aravind learnt of the various miracles that are happening in this devotee’s home and how Swami has confirmed to them His reappearance in the Sathya Sai form. The devotee also mentioned about messages in Swami’s handwriting appearing in their home. When Aravind told me about this, I was really anxious to talk to this devotee and contacted him over the phone. During our discussion I enquired whether a certain letter had materialized in his home a few days after the Mahasamadhi. As per his request I provided the contents of the letter for him to verify. He immediately confirmed that it was indeed in his house that this letter emerged! He also added that the letter was not meant to be publicized but somehow its contents, despite being shared privately, were circulating through emails.
Later Aravind visited this house and personally verified the happenings. There he experienced certain miracles including messages in apparent handwriting of Swami appearing on a writing-board kept at their home and on a letter pad placed at their altar. Aravind also learnt that sometimes when a question is written and kept at the altar, the answer would mysteriously appear in Swami’s handwriting at a later time.
When I sought the devotee’s permission to share the letter, his response was that he had to ask Swami about it. I reckon he had to write my request as a question and place it at his altar awaiting Swami’s answer. Days passed and I did not get any reply. Then two days ago, much to my delight, I received an email from him stating:
Some minutes ago, Swami had written that the letter can be announced. Though this has reached many devotees before this confirmation HE has given (it) now (which is again His leela). We are happy to let you know this. Sairam. Please proceed with the same and let's all wait with folded hands and pray for His grand return.
He specially requested complete anonymity which to me was a sign that this devotee was not seeking personal glory or popularity. However there was one more piece of information I needed from him which was the scanned copy of the original letter. As soon as I received it I was ready to share the letter with the devotees. Here it is:

Dear Children,
What is holier? Temple? Holy rivers? – heart of a devotee who is having love and devotion, this heart is holier than anything else. God resides and will always like to reside in that holy heart of a holy devotee.
Children, you all are witnessing a crucial part of history. Swami wants you all to maintain peace. With patient heart see what is happening. Your Swami has not left you. He is within you and he is also in prashanthi. This is an assurance and with this wait for that miraculous moment. After that moment! the entire world - will be at my feet. There will be none who will not believe in this Sathyam - Sai.
You all out of your devotion want Swami to write about that miraculous time. But Swami cannot reveal that now. Swami wants my dearest children that is you all to wait and see that moment. If future is told / revealed there will be no taste in life.
All your Prema tears! Your cry from your heart!, Your nama japam that you all are doing from hridayam will not go waste.
Like how Swami rose in the previous avatar the same will occur. Remember one thing, you all are dear to me. Dear and Near than my own eye. It is my duty to fulfill your wishes. Which I will do. You will not be deserted for your Sai Ma is anatha rakshaki.
Will write to you again. Continue your prayers. Swami is very happy with the unconditional love that you give. Swami can never go away from you. Your prayers will pull Me in to this form again.
Continue your chants! Continue! My dearest dears!

ReplyDeleteAmazing...This revelation will be more than enough from Swami's side. There HE didnt mention only the exact date of His coming back..but apart from that everything revealed..specified! We just has to wait for the day...no query! Its exactly Swami's writing which any one can clarify!
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is...the letter story was missing until now till the time comes nearer to HIS glorious return! Swami knew the best time to reveal it...and this is all about the TIME IS VERY VERY NEAR...maybe days or weeks!!
Oh Swami.. We will pray for your return every minute of the day.. as you says it will pull You to this Sathya Sai form!

Great There is no doubt that this is the hand Writing of Bhagavan if you look at the letter " W" Bhagavan write that in a particular manner it matches. If you take this letter to a hand writing Expert he'll say it is Babas hand writing.That is the Leela of our Bhagavan. Great. Jai Sai Ram

Perhaps some of you might know Kamakshi Swamiga, holy Pontiff of Shri Kamakshi Peethaml(currently on a trip to USA until June end). He clearly told me several time that Baba would be back in Puttaparthi anytime after May.

ReplyDeleteSwami has told many times the things this Avatar will perform in the future and how prepared one should be. Surprisingly, many people are content with translating this into events that have already happened. For example, Swami said, "As days pass, even those who are now not able to recognize the truth of Swami will have to approach with tears of repentance and experience Me. Very soon, this will be worldwide. Swami is now restraining this development. When once it is allowed to manifest, the whole world will be transformed into Prashanthi Nilayam.". A lot of devotees claim this has happened already, may be out of their love for Swami. The answer is no. Let us be honest on this. Swami will merely accomplish this in future after His return. We have to believe. As simple as that.

"I never go back on my promise"
You have got your answer on His return, depending on how strong your faith is.
The greatest miracle is yet to occur.

I am curious. All this is after all speculation. You seem to imply that something might happen in July 2014 or at any rate this year. What if nothing happens, which is very likely? After all Baba never remotely hinted at anything like this and on the contrary gave plenty of indications of his approaching departure (see his 2007 discourse on You Tube when he spoke on sai geeta and in clear terms indicated his coming demise). So what will you do, extend the date or keep posting dreams / visions etc?
ReplyDeleteSairam, The basic understanding that we need to have is that Swami's "early" departure is also predetermined by Him. So why should we be surprised that He gave many indications for His approaching departure? And, how is it anyway telling us that He is not going to come back? The reasons for my belief regarding His Reappearance are detailed in Sai Thy Kingdom Come. It's my belief and I am preparing for that event. At the same time, I am not forcing anyone to believe in it. However, instead of asking "What if nothing happens?", you may do yourself a favor by asking "what if it really happens?" "And everything that comes along with it?". Are you prepared?

Hi Anon, Sairam. We gather here to strengthen our individual trust in the lord. Monkey minds that we have plays havoc due to maya. The dreams or visions help us in those times when mind falls weak. If one reads the last line of your comment it seems like you are frustrated brother. Do not worry swami will definitely be back. Am sure you will be blessed with dreams too regarding his return. Again, no offence meant, just trying to empathise with the state of mind. Who are those getting dreams or visions, with whose sanction do dreams appear?Who is deciding the dates - Trunamapi na chalati tena vina.....the article posted below might help some if us :) sairam bangaroo.

DeleteThis question has been asked over and over again by many people. They could be anyone including Swami's devotees who believe the Avatar's era is over. But the part of the question which needs some serious attention is, '... What will YOU do...?'
DeleteThis is not the 'correct' form of the question. Why do you think the people who believe Swami will return and talk about it should do something if it doesn't happen?
Instead, ask 'What will we do?' In other words, 'What will the world do?'
My friend, we are all a part of a messed up world. People who have tried to change this world for the better have either given up, settled down, changed courses over time, or even lost their lives before they could do it. For example Abraham Lincoln or Mahatma Gandhi.
There are tasks that only an Avatar is capable of completing. The normal human, while his or her efforts are great and commendable, is not enough to bring a universal dharmic change. The reason is, the human birth is a Karma Janma (birth taken to execute an allotted portion of karmic residue), while Avatars are Karana Janma (birth taken for a specific reason). The latter type has a definite purpose that should be achieved no matter what. Births like this don't have leftovers to begin with. Nor do they leave a residue when they are done. They vanish when the mission in completed.
Today we have many disasters. Not just climate related ones. Economy, character, spiritual, health, and many other types. These can be changed only by an Avatar.
But then, one might point out that Prema Sai is also a Karana Janma and why shouldn't we believe He might write this epic sage in the history of mankind. That because Swami has told clearly that Prema Sai will not have much work to do and He will sustain the Golden Age while Sathya Sai will bring the Golden Age! Do you think that in the period between Swami's 'apparent' Mahasamadhi and Prema Sai's appearance the world will be cleansed by humans themselves and 'we' will bring the Golden Age? The answer is no.
When Swami returns (sure He will!), different people are going to react differently. But the ultimate test for believers is how they will react to the repentance of non-believers. This is much more difficult than for a non-believer to start accepting the truth.
We must never forget that our reactions to Swami's return don't matter an ounce compared to Swami's return itself. The grandeur and magnanimity of His glory is more important that what anyone believed or didn't believe until then.
Very soon, we all will witness the true reason behind the age-old saying, 'God is great'.

DeleteOnce the gods and the demons were engaged in a war in which the gods emerged winners. However they attributed their success to themselves, ignorant about the fact that their power to conquer sprang forth from the Brahman or the ultimate reality. The Brahman then appeared before them in the form of a Yaksha to reveal the truth to them. On seeing the Yaksha, the gods wondered who it was and turned to Agni to find out who it was. Agni, the lord of fire, went to the Brahman who had manifested as a Yaksha.

Agni : (proudly) I am the ‘God of fire’
Yaksha: “I see, but what powers do u have?”
Agni: “Well, I can burn up anything!”
Yaksha placed a straw in front of Agni and said, “Is it? Then let me see if you can burn this straw!”
Agni tried all his might to burn the straw, but was unsuccessful. He then returned to the gods with shame having faced defeat.
When the gods were thinking of sending someone else, Vayu, the lord of wind, came forward.
Yaksha asked “Who are you?”
Vayu replied, “I am Vayu, the lord of wind”
“Oh! What powers do you have?” asked Yaksha.
“I have the power to blow off anything,” said Vayu
Yaksha again placed a straw in front of Vayuand said, “Is that so?Can you lift this straw?”
Vayu, the lord of wind, tried his level best to blow off the straw but failed miserably.
He too returned to the gods just like Agni, feeling ashamed to have failed in the venture.
Next cameIndra, the highest in the hierarchy.
When Indra approached, the Yaksha suddenly disappeared and Goddess Uma appeared in place of him. Indra asked Uma prayerfully, “Who have we been seeing here?”
The goddess replied, “It was the supreme Brahman, due to the power of which you have emerged victorious in the war, don’t you know that?”
It was only then Indra understood the reason why the other two- Agni and Vayu were unable to win their ventures.
This story of Kenopanishad also reveals that all outward victory is due to the power of the Brahman. ‘Without Him, the Eternal, the supreme Lord, even a blade of grass cannot move’ – TenavinaTrunamapinachalati”!
Being ignorant of this, most of us stay highly egotistic and claim every success or failure is one’s own achievement. When we get to know this truth, most of our problems related to ego will get solved by themselves and lead us towards a most peaceful life.
